INAUGURATION OF THE CLASSROOM AT DIN SAN SCHOOL POINT - QUYET TIEN COMMUNE - QUAN BA DISTRICT - HA GIANG PROVINCE
Continuing its meaningful activities, Happy Home Fund persists in its mission of “Connecting - Sharing love" with those facing difficulties and obstacles in society. These individuals may include students, pupils, or anyone across Vietnam who is in need of support.
This time, Happy Home Fund aims to support, share, and assist elementary school students who lack access to education in highland areas. This was achieved through the inauguration ceremony of a classroom, a joyous occasion celebrated by leaders, parents, and students alike, at Din San School Point in Quyet Tien Commune, Quan Ba District, Ha Giang Province on April 15th, 2022.
Happy Home Fund has generously donated up to 450,000,000 VND to build a new school for 145 elementary school students, enabling them to attend classes effectively. Prior to making this decision, the Foundation conducted a survey of the existing school conditions to devise the best possible support plan. After the survey, it was found that the school at Din San in Quyet Tien Commune, Quan Ba District, Ha Giang Province, had severely deteriorated physical infrastructure, insufficient for providing a conducive learning environment for the students. This posed a significant barrier for the students' educational pursuits and a considerable challenge for the local community in a mountainous region facing numerous difficulties and concerns.
Therefore, Happy Home Fund resolved to invest in constructing a new school with the aim of spreading love and support to young children in many disadvantaged areas, especially in remote, mountainous, and island regions. These are areas that often lack full access to education due to inadequate learning conditions and limited infrastructure, hindering students' access to standardized knowledge resources.
During the inauguration ceremony, Mrs.Nguyen Thi To Quyen, who representsHappy Home Fund as its Director, engaged in listening and sharing moments with all officials, staff, and notably parents and elementary school students from Din San village, Quyet Tien commune, Quan Ba district, Ha Giang province. Despite challenging weather conditions with heavy rain, the ceremony grounds were covered with tarpaulins to ensure everyone's safety during the event. All attendees were required to strictly adhere to the 5K principles to maintain their health and safety, as well as that of the young children present.
Throughout the ceremony, everyone could visibly share in the joy and happiness. The students clapped cheerfully as they now have a proper school where they can attend, meet their friends and teachers, and have access to better knowledge in the future. The atmosphere throughout the event was warmly intimate, with representatives fromHappy Home Fund, officials, staff, parents, and students sharing conversations and witnessing the memorable ribbon-cutting ceremony. This event marked an important milestone, paving the way for a brighter future for elementary school students.
Happy Home hopes that through this initiative and its previous activities—such as donating 300 gift packages to students affected by Covid-19 and providing financial support to orphaned children in the Central Highlands and Southern provinces—their efforts will continue to spread meaningful values across Vietnam, promoting unity and solidarity. Education remains a primary focus for Mai Am Hanh Phuc Foundation. They aspire to receive ongoing support from benefactors to expand educational outreach to more schools. Together with teachers, they aim to bring literacy and education to remote and disadvantaged communities, contributing to the development of the nation's educational sector in the future.
