GROUNDBREAKING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF NA HANG TUA CHU SCHOOL - YEN BAI PROVINCE

On the morning of September 28th, the Yen Bai Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the National Volunteer Center and Happy Home Fund, commenced the construction of Nahang Tuat Chu School, located at Pung Luong Kindergarten in Pung Luong commune, Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province. This represents the Foundation's second school project in 2021.

Happy Home Fund has provided a support of 317 million VND for the construction of 2 classrooms, each with an expected area of 42m2, intended for teachers and students. The school project is scheduled to be completed and welcome its first students in November 2021.

The Yen Bai Provincial Youth Union, in collaboration with the Central Youth Volunteer Center and the "Strength of 2,000" project by Hieu Tran Construction Company Limited, has initiated the construction of the "Beautiful School for Children" project at 5 school locations:

- Suoi Giang Kindergarten, Suoi Giang commune, Van Chan district;
- Hang Tho Kindergarten, Xa Ho commune, Tram Tau district;
- Ta Cho Kindergarten, Lang Nhi commune, Tram Tau district;
- Hang De Chu Kindergarten, Ho Bon commune, Mu Cang Chai district;
- Na Hang Tua Chu Kindergarten, Pung Luong commune, Mu Cang Chai district.
These are 5 remote locations in disadvantaged communes of Yen Bai province where classrooms have severely deteriorated

The project includes 7 classrooms and 2 utility houses, each classroom measuring 41m2, designed and constructed according to technical infrastructure standards for electrical systems, lightning protection, and domestic water supply. The design and installation are synchronized to ensure safety and harmony with the playground landscape and beautiful garden, aiming to facilitate teaching and learning activities in a clean and green environment. The entire project, valued at nearly 1.5 billion VND, is expected to be executed and completed within 3 months.

The "Beautiful School for Children" project is being initiated at 5 school locations in Yen Bai province under the "Wish for Children" program, coordinated by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training. This initiative responds to and celebrates the 65th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Union, aiming to support students in economically and socially disadvantaged areas with better learning environments.
