GIVING TET GIFTS IN THE HOMELAND - PHU THO

         On February 1, 2024, the Happy Home Foundation visited and directly gave Tet gifts to various households including the poor, near-poor, people in particularly difficult circumstances; families with disabled members; all households in the Phu Thinh residential area of Xuan Huy commune, Lam Thao district, Phu Tho province

At the commune's People's Committee headquarters, founders of Happy Home Foundation along with representatives of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune, and leaders of the community distributed financial support of 10 million VND to Mr. Nguyen Van Hai's family, who is in a particularly difficult situation with four children all disabled due to the effects of Agent Orange; provided support to 66 poor and near-poor families, and those in difficult circumstances each receiving 1 million VND; and gave Tet gifts to 141 households in the Phú Thịnh residential area each also receiving 1 million VND. Happy Home Fund also visited and offered Lunar New Year's greetings to the leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and the Fatherland Front of the commune, and laid floral tributes at the temples of Lac Long Quan and Hung Kings. The total amount of cash donated by the foundation in Xuan Huy and Hy Cuong during this period was over 267 million VND.

Attending the Tet gift-giving ceremony were leaders from the Happy Home Foundation; Mr. Luu Tien Nghi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune, along with representatives of the Party Committee, People's Council of the commune; Mr. Bui Xuan Tinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune, along with representatives of the People's Committee; the Chairman of the Fatherland Front of the commune and leaders of community associations; representatives of the community ward leaders; representatives of poor families, near-poor families, those in difficult circumstances, Mr. Nguyen Van Hai's family, and representatives of households in the Phú Thịnh residential area.

The leader of the Happy Home Foundation gave a speech expressing gratitude, thanks, and shared with the families present at the ceremony, and sent New Year greetings to the families in the commune as Tet approaches and spring arrives.


Representatives of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, the Fatherland Front of the commune, comrade Luu Tien Nghi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune, and comrade Bui Xuan Tinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune gave speeches thanking the Happy Home Foundation for their care, sharing, support, and visits during the 2024 Giap Thin Tet holiday and expressed hopes for the foundation's continued development and bringing more joy to the poor and disadvantaged.

During the 2024 Tet and spring season, the Happy Home Foundation also coordinated with Mr. Dao Duy Than, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hy Cuong commune, to give financial support of 50 million VND to War Invalid Hoang Xuan Moc residing in Area 5, Hy Cuong commune, Việt Trì city, Phú Thọ province, to help build housing for those who have rendered meritorious service to the country and are in difficult circumstances in Hy Cuong commune.


Hy Cuong commune is considered one of the significant spiritual and ancestral tribute sites in Vietnam, featuring temples and tombs of the Hùng Kings, the temple of Đức Quốc tổ Lạc Long Quân, and has been identified as the center of the ancient Văn Lang state. The area contains many monuments honoring the Hùng Kings, their relatives, and generals from the Hùng Kings' era and preserves the valuable "Hùng đồ thập bát diệp thánh vương Ngọc phả cổ truyện" (The Jade Annals of the Eighteen Holy Hùng Kings) compiled by the Scholar Nguyen Co of the Royal Academy in the third year of the Hong Duc era under King Lê Thánh Tông (1472), with later additions by Scholar Nguyễn Trọng in the first year of the Hoàng Định era under King Lê Kính Tông (1600) and ritual editions by Lê Đình Hoan./upload/images/xh4.jpg
