CAMPAIGN "WARM SHELTER" - SPREADING LOVE GIFTS ADMIDST CHALLENGING PANDEMIC TIMES
Recently, with the support from the Youth Union of the Foreign Trade University and the Youth Union of the Academy of Journalism and Communication, the Happy Home Fund has distributed 1162 relief packages to families with young children facing difficult circumstances across 6 districts in Hanoi.
Each relief package, valued at 200,000 VND, includes: 5kg of rice, 2kg of two types of vegetables, 1kg of peanuts, 2 packs of spices, and 500g of dried fish.
Thanks to the close coordination between the university unions and local youth unions, the gifts were delivered to the right recipients at the right time, with thorough verification of each person's details (name, address, circumstances, and acknowledgment). This approach aims to prevent situations where those in need do not receive help or where assistance is given unnecessarily. The distribution process was conducted in a civilized, safe manner, adhering to COVID-19 prevention protocols (known as the 5Ks), minimizing the risks of contact.
We hope these tokens of love will provide additional strength to everyone during these extraordinarily difficult times.

Thanks to the close cooperation between the university unions and local youth unions, the aid packages were distributed directly to the right people at the right time. Recipients underwent verification of their names, addresses, family circumstances, and acknowledgment. This approach aims to prevent issues such as aid being misdirected or distributed at the wrong time, addressing concerns that are currently prominent in charitable activities. The aid was distributed directly to residents by volunteers who are students participating in the Happy Home Fund. However, the distribution of aid still ensures compliance with the 5K principles, minimizing the risk of disease transmission through contact and gatherings
Through this campaign, the Happy Home Fund hopes that these small but valuable aid packages will strengthen the confidence and resilience of the people in combating the COVID-19 pandemic.
