HAPPY HOME FUND - "TOGETHER TO SCHOOL" SUPPORTS 7,500 STUDENTS IN KON TUM

Implemented as part of the "Together to School" program for the new school year 2023-2024, from September 4th to September 10th, 2023, the Fund for Happiness and Prosperity collaborated with local authorities in Kon Tum province to distribute support to 7,500 students in the districts of Kon Plông and Đắk Glei. The gifts included school bags, study materials, and textbooks to ensure a smooth return to school for the students. The total value of the distributed gifts amounted to 1,123,366,382 VND.

Kon Tum province is one of the most economically challenged provinces in the Central Highlands region, with five out of its 11 districts classified as impoverished (Tu Mơ Rông, Kon Plông, Đăk Glei, Sa Thầy, Kon Rẫy).

Kon Plông district, located deep within Kon Tum province, covers an area of 1,371.2 km2 with a population of approximately 26,025 people, predominantly consisting of five ethnic groups: Xơ Đăng, Mơ Nâm, Ka Dong, H’rê, and Kinh. The district is administratively divided into 9 units, including 8 communes (Măng Cành, Hiếu, Đắk Nên, Măng Bút, Pờ Ê, Đắk Tăng, Đắk Ring, Ngọk Tem) and the town of Măng Đen. In Kon Plông district, the Fund for Happiness and Prosperity provided support to all students from preschool to lower secondary school levels across all administrative units. Representatives from the Fund personally distributed gifts at schools in all 7/9 commune-level administrative units, including Măng Cành, Hiếu, Măng Bút, Pờ Ê, Đắk Tăng, Ngọk Tem, and Măng Đen town.
 

Đắk Glei district, another impoverished district located near the northern border of Kon Tum province, consists of 11 communes and 1 town, Đắk Glei, with a population of around 51,293 people, predominantly belonging to ethnic minority groups such as Gié Triêng and Xơ Đăng. In Đắk Glei district, the Fund for Happiness and Prosperity distributed gifts directly to Đắk Môn commune on September 4th, 2023.

This initiative by the Fund for Happiness and Prosperity is a significant effort aimed at "Sharing together, Connecting with love," bringing increasing happiness to the community.
