THANH CHUONG: GROUNDBREAKING FOR HOUSING CONSTRUCTION FOR 2 FAMILLIES OF MARTYRS' RELATIVES IN THANH YEN COMMUNE
On July 16, 2023, the Happy Home Fund, in collaboration with the Housing Construction Steering Committee of Thanh Yen Commune, organized a groundbreaking ceremony and provided financial support for housing construction to 2 families of martyrs' relatives facing housing difficulties in Thanh Yen Commune. The event was attended by Mr. Bui Manh Cuong, Founder of theHappy Home Fund, Associate Professor, Mrs. Nguyen Thi To Quyen – Chairwoman and Executive Director of theHappy Home Fund, as well as local leaders from the Union of Friendship Organizations, and district authorities
During the ceremony, the Happy Home Fund provided financial support of 50,000,000 VND to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Chau's family, wife of a martyr in Hong Binh Hamlet; and 25,000,000 VND to Mr. Bui Van Thuan's family, relatives of a martyr in Trung Long Hamlet, to assist these families with the construction of new homes ensuring safety and comfort for worshiping the martyrs.
The Happy Home Fund awarded the amount of 50,000,000 VND to Ms. Nguyen Thi Chau's family.
The Happy Home Fund awarded the amount of 25,000,000 VND to Mr. Bui Van Thuan's family.
The initiative to support housing construction for these two families coincided with the 76th anniversary of Martyrs and Veterans Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2023), demonstrating the nation's gratitude and the principle of "remembering the source" towards those who have contributed to the revolution and the families of martyrs.
Mrs. Nguyen Thi To Quyen, Chairwoman and Executive Director of theHappy Home Fund, delivered a speech at the ceremony.
It is noteworthy that Mr. Bui Manh Cuong, Founder of the Happy Home Fund, is also a native of Thanh Yen Commune. Over the years, his family and theHappy Home Fund have engaged in meaningful activities benefiting the local community, such as annual support for the "Tet for the Poor" fund, contributing 100 million VND for the construction of martyrs' cemeteries in the commune, and providing 165 million VND for the road to the people's cemetery...
"The Happy Home Fund operates on a non-profit basis, aiming to support and encourage charity and humanitarian activities through prioritizing the construction of homes for charity purposes, assisting individuals and families in difficult circumstances, families with revolutionary merits, elderly people living alone, orphaned children, boarding students in remote and disadvantaged areas, supporting students and students in difficult circumstances to improve their academic performance, assisting critically ill patients, supporting communities in overcoming difficulties after natural disasters, floods, and other charitable purposes in accordance with legal regulations."
