SENDING TET GIFTS AT THE HOMELAND OF FORMER CHIEF INSPECTOR TA HUU THANH

On the Lunar New Year 2024, January 27, 2024, the Mai Am Hanh Phuc Fund visited Thuy Van commune, Viet Tri city, Phu Tho province to directly distribute Tet gifts to poor families, near-poor families, and families facing special difficulties. This commune holds significance as the hometown of the late State Inspector General Ta Huu Thanh. Each Tet gift amounted to 1 million Vietnamese Dong in cash. The total amount distributed by the Fund in this session in the commune was 225 million Vietnamese Dong.

The event was attended by leaders from Mai Am Hanh Phuc Foundation, representatives from the Communist Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front, and the Education Promotion Fund of the commune, as well as representatives from local communities including poor families, near-poor families, and those with special difficulties or illnesses.

Representing the Happy Home Fund, Associate Professor Nguyen Thi To Quyen expressed empathy for families still facing hardships in life, offered encouragement to families with sick members, and motivated students to continue striving for excellence.

Speaking on behalf of the Communist Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front of the commune, Mr. Luu Duc Tho, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thuy Van commune, expressed gratitude to Happy Home Fund for their care, support, and visit during the Lunar New Year to poor families, near-poor families, and families with difficult circumstances. He also appreciated the Fund's efforts in promoting education for children in the commune.

Representatives from Happy Home Fund, along with the Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of the commune, Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune, Chairman of the Fatherland Front of the commune, People's Council of the commune, and leaders of local communities, directly handed over the financial support to the beneficiary families during the ceremony.
